Thirteenth Ephrata Dodgeball Tournament Fall 2016

Dodgeball for Diabetes celebrated the thirteenth annual Dodgeball Tournament, crowning four champions for the Fall of 2016. The tournament featured thirty-seven teams comprising of over 242 players all of which came together to to have fun, while raising money for Juvenile Diabetes.

The Tournament, designed to raise money for Juvenile Diabetes, raised over $8,400.

The Champions of each circuit are listed below, but in my mind the real winners are the teams that raised more than the minimum required amount.

Locally one team raised $1,260 on their own, and for their efforts, members of "Royal Rush" received a bundle of dodgeball clothes and memorabilia. Also earning top honors in the Senior Circuit "Big Daddy and the Boys" raised $500.

How it all went down

• Rookie Circuit
  In the Rookie Circuit, Skillz Killz (7-0, 14-2) came out victorious with a 2-1 win over Dabbin' Dodgers (6-1, 13-3). In the semi-finals Don't Hit Me, Bro defeated The Dodge Squad (4-2, 9-5) by the count of 2-0. While Skillz Killz, who were the only undefeated team this year, defeated the Doge Ballers (4-2, 9-4) in the other semifinal.
• Junior Circuit
  In the Junior Circuit, Dodgeballs in Your Face (6-1, 12-2) turned back the Donkeys (6-1, 12-2) two games to none. Dodgeballs in your Face avenged their loss to the Donkeys in pool play. The Donkeys eliminated The Goofballs (3-3, 6-6) in their semifinal match. Dodgeballs in Your Face stopped the undefeated Dragons of Dodge (D.O.D.) (4-1, 8-4) in their semifinal match 2-0.
• Senior Circuit
  In the Senior Circuit, after a disastrous 1-2 pool record, Big Daddy and the Boys (5-2, 12-6) eliminated Better Sheaf Than Sorry (6-1, 13-5) two games to one, Big Daddy and the Boys also took out previously undefeated 6 Gods of Dodge (4-1, 9-3) and Royal Rush (6-1, 12-3) on the way to the Finals. Better Sheaf Than Sorry defeated the previously unbeaten Lil Momma and the Girls (6-1, 13-2) in the semi-finals.
  
• Belles Circuit
  In the Belles of Dodgeball Finals, We Dodge Dudes (3-5, 8-11) eliminated Dodge is Life (4-3, 9-6) two games to one. We Dodge Dudes defeated Snoop Dodge (3-4, 7-10) in the semi-finals while Dodge is Life beat Don't Snap and Dodge (2-5, 4-11) on the other side of the bracket.
